K-P Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was again denied a meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Thursday, marking the sixth time his request was rejected. Last month, the IHC overruled objections raised by the registrar's office to a petition filed by the K-P chief minister seeking a meeting with the PTI founder. Later, the K-P advocate general filed a contempt of court petition in the IHC over the non-compliance with the judicial order directing authorities to allow Afridi to meet the incarcerated PTI leader. On Thursday, Afridi arrived at Adiala Road but was stopped by Rawalpindi police at the Gorakhpur checkpoint.
