Pakistan’s armed forces conducted targeted strikes in response to unprovoked Indian aggression along the Line of Control (LoC), destroying multiple Indian positions including a key military post and a battalion headquarters, according to security sources. In the Hajipir sector, the Pakistan Army retaliated after Indian forces initiated indiscriminate firing, destroying the "Jhanda Ziyarat" post. “The destruction of the Jhanda Ziyarat post inflicted significant losses on the enemy,” security sources said, noting that the action was part of a measured and effective response to ongoing provocations. Building on this response, the Pakistan Army also struck an Indian battalion headquarters located at Nanga Tak in occupied Kashmir, causing substantial damage and losses, state broadcaster PTV reported, quoting security sources. In a statement posted on X, PTV confirmed that the Nanga Tak headquarters was damaged as a direct response to Indian military firing. The broadcaster cited officials as saying the response was calibrated to neutralise hostile infrastructure used to facilitate ceasefire violations. Any future aggression will be met with a forceful and proportionate response,” security sources added. Meanwhile, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has denied that Pakistan launched attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. “Pakistan has not targeted any locations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, or across international border, so far. Neither has any loss been incurred by PAF,” Tarar said in a post on X. “Indian media is always spreading disinformation either to create to craft a (fake) notion of success before publicly accepting their embarrassing losses during their unprovoked aggression on night of 6/7 May 2025. “We have only given defensive response so far!
