Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed has stated that political stability and security are vital for boosting the country's economy. While talking to a private news channel on Monday, he said improved security conditions and political stability are crucial for attracting foreign investment in this region. The senator highlighted the success of past security operations, such as Zarb-e-Azb, Radd-ul-Fasaad, and Rah-e-Nijat, attributing their achievements to the political support of the governments. He added that the Azm-e-Istehkam operation could also achieve its goals if political parties and stakeholders fully cooperate with the current government. Following the NAP's implementation and political support, Pakistan's soldiers, law enforcement agencies, security institutions, and civil organisations achieved tremendous success in the war against terrorism, he added. Commenting on global participation, he expressed hope that Pakistan's inclusion in the BRICS nations would help address many issues faced by the country. In response to another question, he noted that Russia is keen to expand economic, diplomatic, and business relations with Pakistan.
