The stepmother of former president and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-Cchairman Asif Ali Zardari, Zareen Ara passed away after a prolonged illness in Karachi on Wednesday. She will be buried in ancestral graveyard in Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah), Express News reported. According to sources, Zardari, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Fariyal Talpur, Azra Fazal Pechuho, and Zardari’s daughters – Aseefa and Bakhtawar – will reach Nawabshah to attend the funeral. The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and services chiefs also expressed heartfelt condolences on her passing. "May Allah bless the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, Ameen," military’e media wing, the ISPR, quoted them as saying.
