Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) distributed presents to its passengers during a flight on account of Christmas. A Christian leader distributed presents among the passengers in Santa Claus’ attire. He also distributed chocolates among the children. For the past few years, PIA has been offering presents to its passengers on Christmas and this year's celebration was a continuation of the tradition. Federal Minister Aminul Haq, Members of National Assembly Qadir Patel and Nafisa Shah were among the passengers and were also surprised at the in-flight festivities. PIA CEO Arshad Malik said that PIA shares the joys of the Christian community and is flying according to the needs of all schools of thought. Luckily, Omicron did not affect Santa's travel plans, according to the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), which has tracked St. Nick's Christmas journey for over 60 years. Major General Eric Kenny, commander of the Canadian NORAD region, told AFP that Santa had distributed over two billion gifts and was above Pakistan around 1800 GMT. "Santa is doing very well so far," Kenny said. "He's been at it for many hours already and will go throughout the evening as well."
