The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notices to the federal government and other respondents in a case challenging the privatisation of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), directing them to submit reports and parawise comments within two weeks.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir issued the written order after hearing the petition filed by the Peoples Unity of PIA Employees which challenged the bidding process for PIA held on December 23, 2025 as well as the decision to declare the Arif Habib Consortium the successful bidder.
