The timing of a joint sitting of the parliament that was scheduled for Monday (today) has been changed. According to a spokesperson of the National Assembly Secretariat, the joint sitting will now be held at 3pm instead of 10:30am. The time of the joint sitting has been revised by President Asif Ali Zardari. The president will address the joint sitting of Parliament, said Radio Pakistan. In the second parliamentary year of the 16th NA which concluded on February 17, 46 bills were passed into law, including 40 government and six private members' bills. Twenty-seven resolutions were also adopted during the year.
