The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday issued notices on the appeals against the conviction of Advocate Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha in the controversial tweets case. The court also served notices to respondents on the pleas seeking suspension of the sentence of both and sought their response. Justice Muhammad Asif heard the appeals against the conviction of the two accused. Faisal Siddiqui, Zainab Janjua and others appeared on behalf of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha. The petitioner's lawyer said that the next hearing should be scheduled soon.
