A landslide in the mountainous village of Qamar in Tehsil Gumbat, Kohat district, has claimed the lives of seven people and left one person injured, Rescue 1122 officials said on Wednesday. The incident occurred earlier this week when a portion of a hillside suddenly collapsed, burying eight individuals under massive debris. Rescue teams launched an intensive search-and-rescue operation, which has now been formally concluded after days of continuous effort. According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, seven bodies were recovered from the rubble, while one injured survivor was successfully rescued.
