All nine education boards of Punjab have postponed the scheduled annual examinations of matric and intermediate Part-I and II in the wake of the beginning of Ramazan. The exams were set to start on March 3. The boards have now issued a revised schedule for the annual exams. The boards have also released the revised schedule for results and supplementary examinations of matric and intermediate, both parts. All acting chairmen of the education boards have approved the new schedule. According to the revised schedule, the annual exams for matric will commence on March 27, after Eidul Fitr, across Punjab. The results of Class 10 annual exams will be announced on August 6, while the results of Class 9 exams will be declared on September 2. The matric supplementary examinations will begin on October 6, and their results will be announced on December 8. Forms for matric supplementary exams with a single fee will be accepted from August 7 to August 19, with a double fee from August 20 to August 25, and with a triple fee from August 26 to August 29. Moreover, the annual exams of intermediate (Arts and Science) will start on May 20. The results of intermediate Part-II will be announced on September 23, while the results of first-year annual examinations will be declared on October 22. Intermediate supplementary examinations will begin on November 3. Forms for intermediate supplementary exams will be accepted with a single fee from September 24 to October 6, with a double fee from October 7 to October 13, and with a triple fee from October 14 to October 17. The results of the intermediate supplementary examinations will be announced on January 12, 2027. The complete revised schedule circular has been dispatched to all government and private schools, district education authorities, and private school associations.
