The director general of the NCCIA informed a parliamentary panel that the agency is facing severe shortages of trained staff and financial resources. He disclosed that in 2025 alone, NCCIA received 22,500 complaints, registered 620 cases, and secured only 26 convictions, with one officer handling an average of 565 complaints.
