Allama Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi has been appointed as the chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), a notification by the Ministry of Law and Justice said on Saturday. Earlier, Naeemi was serving as the acting chairman of the CII since May 2024. Now, he has been appointed as a member and the chairman of Council. "The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has also been pleased to appoint Allama Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi as Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology," the notification read.
