The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will begin its UK operations from October 25, starting with two weekly flights between Islamabad and Manchester. The flights will operate on Saturdays and Tuesdays, announced the national flag carrier on Saturday. As per the schedule, the flight will depart from Islamabad at 12 noon and arrive in Manchester at 5pm, while the return flight will depart Manchester at 7pm and reach Islamabad at 7am. The airline plans to gradually increase the number of flights to Manchester and will later start operations to London in the next phase.
