A private air club's training aircraft crashed near the New Islamabad International Airport on Saturday, though both people on board, including a female trainee pilot, escaped unhurt. The aircraft went down near airport Tower 39, in fields close to Ramah village. According to aviation sources, the plane had taken off on a routine training flight when it reportedly encountered a technical malfunction mid-air, causing it to crash. Emergency teams rushed to the scene and transported the pilots to the hospital for medical examination. Security officials sealed off the area and immediately launched an investigation.
