The price of sugar in the country continues its upward spiral, with retail rates reaching as high as Rs200 per kilogram in major cities, the latest data released by the PBS showed on Saturday. In its newly issued weekly price statistics, the PBS reported that the national average price of sugar has climbed to Rs188.44 per kg, marking a weekly increase of Rs3.52.
