Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry commended the significant role played by the nation, particularly students, in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos during the recent conflict with India, the military's media wing reported on Tuesday. The DG visited Karachi's Jinnah University for Women, where he interacted with students and highlighted how their involvement helped dismantle India’s strategic assumptions once and for all, according to the ISPR. "In Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, the nation, especially the students, played a crucial role in permanently destroying India's strategic assumptions," he said. He further reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to its territories, stating, "There is no doubt that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan. The people of Balochistan are bound to Pakistan through religion, culture, and traditions." The ISPR chief also assured that no external force, including a handful of militants from India, would be able to harm Pakistan's relationship with Balochistan. Upon arrival at the university, the administration and students warmly welcomed Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry and paid tribute to the success of Pakistan's armed forces in the operation against India. The students expressed their support for the military, stating, "We are with the Pakistan Army, and the army is with the people." Pakistan Armed Forces conducted Operation Bunyanum Marsoos on May 10 as part of the military conflict 'Marka-e-Haq' in response to Indian military’s dastardly attacks that began on the night of May 6 and 7, resulting in the loss of innocent civilian lives, including women, children, and the elderly. On May 10, Pakistan launched Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and deployed its Al-Fatah missile and targeted multiple Indian military installations. However, after the intervention of US President Donald Trump, a full and immediate ceasefire was reached between India and Pakistan.
