Three people were killed and another was injured in a grenade blast in Parachinar, Kurram district, while police successfully repulsed a terrorist attack on a police station in Lakki Marwat. Terrorists launched an assault on the Dara Pezo Police Station using heavy weapons and rocket launchers. However, the police successfully repelled the attack, forcing the assailants to flee under the cover of darkness. In a separate incident, unidentified terrorists abducted a policeman from Lakki Marwat. The officer, identified as Abdul Qadeer, son of Alamgir, was taken to an undisclosed location.
