Pakistan Railways has announced a fare reduction for passengers with a 20% discount on train tickets during the holiday period for Eidul Fitr, Express News reported. According to a notification issued by Pakistan Railways, the 20% discount will apply to all mail, express, and intercity trains on the first three days of Eidul Fitr. However, the discount will be available only for these specific days and will not extend beyond that. Additionally, the fare reduction will also apply to advance bookings made during this period, offering passengers a further incentive. However, it's important to note that this discount will not be applicable to special Eid trains. Pakistan Railways has instructed all booking offices to strictly implement this discount, ensuring that passengers can take full advantage of the fare reduction during the Eid celebrations.
