K-P Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday hosted a meeting of the PML-N and the PPP leaders at his residence in the federal capital to discuss the issues faced by the K-P including deteriorating security situation and political uncertainty. The meeting agreed on a joint strategy and efforts for sustainable peace and overall development in the K-P. It was also decided to engage like-minded political parties in the consultation process and to continue discussions regularly for the province's progress. It expressed concern over the PTI led provincial government's "criminal silence" on the deteriorating security situation in the province.
