Security forces have killed 30 terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the South Waziristan District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), the military's media wing said on Tuesday. This operation follows the elimination of 15 terrorists in two separate operations in K-P last week. The operation took place on Monday in the Sararogha area, following reports of the presence of Khwarij militants. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the security forces effectively engaged the militants' location, leading to the death of the 30 terrorists. “During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location, as a result of which, thirty Khwarij were sent to hell,” the ISPR added. The military further stated that a sanitisation operation was underway in the region to clear the area of any remaining terrorists. “Security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the ISPR concluded. The operation is part of Pakistan's ongoing efforts to combat terrorism, particularly in the tribal areas where militant groups have historically operated. The military's operations are aimed at securing the region and preventing further terrorist activities.
