Supreme Court Additional Registrar (Judicial) Nazar Abbas, who was recently acquitted in a contempt of court case, retired from service on Friday. According to a press release issued by the SC, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi bid farewell to Nazar Abbas and praised his years of professional service at the apex court. "The Hon'ble Chief Justice lauded Mr. Nazar Abbas for his professionalism, and years of distinguished service. The Hon'ble Chief Justice of Pakistan acknowledged his pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of judicial affairs in the court," it read.
