CJP Justice Yahya Afridi has recommended Syeda Tanzeela Sabahat for appointment as Secretary Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan on deputation for one year. The recommendation was finalized after a rigorous selection process conducted by a committee tasked with reviewing nominees provided by the chief secretaries of the provinces. The committee, chaired by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, included Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Shahid Waheed, and other Supreme Court judges. Sabahat is currently serving as Secretary for Science, Technology, and Information Technology in the K-P government.
