A man was accused of torturing his wife to death over a domestic dispute. According to the police, Muhammad Usman Yousuf was married to Asma and they had three children. Usman Yousuf was unemployed while his wife used to sew clothes to feed his children. The accused Usman Yousuf used to demand money from her and he used to torture her every day for not giving money. On the day if the incident, Usman Yousuf along with Sami, Saad, Kamran, Zabiullah, Shazia and Maria Bibi tortured his wife, pulled her scarf around her neck, killed her and fled. Sadar Police Station reached the spot and took possession of the body and after necessary action handed it over to the heirs and registered a case. Meanwhile, unknown persons entered a hostel and tortured 40-year-old Ghulam Murtaza son of Nazar Muhammad, resident of Thal, an In-charge of a private security company in Douglaspora area of Jhang Bazar police station. As a result, he died. His death was known when his colleague arrived who informed the Jhang Bazar police. The police took possession of the body and shifted it to the hospital and started the action.
