In a tragic incident near Karsaz on the service road, a woman driving an SUV lost control of the vehicle and ran over a bike killing a man and his daughter and injuring another person. The SUV overturned and a large crowd gathered fuming with anger to punish the driver. However, police and Rangers intervened, controlled the crowd and shifted the errant driver to the Bahadurabad police station in a police mobile. A traffic police crane towed the SUV to the police station. According to SHO Bahadurabad, Naeem Rajput, the woman driver in custody has been identified as Natasha. The accident destroyed two motorcycles and a car, leading to the death of the father and daughter on the motorcycle. The deceased have been identified as 62-year-old Imran Arif and his 23-year-old daughter, Amna, residents of Yasir View Apartments in Gulzar Hijri Scheme 33. Another person, 55-year-old Abdul Salam, was injured and is receiving medical treatment. The police, after completing legal formalities, handed over the bodies to the family. The woman driver was found in possession of a foreign driving license. SSP East stated that the woman was in a state of shock, and a medical examination was being conducted to clarify the situation further. The news of the accident caused an uproar in the deceased's home, with women collapsing in grief and a large number of neighbours gathering to express their condolences and sorrow over the tragic incident.
