Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) staff conducted a medical check-up of PTI founder Imran Khan, overseen by the chief of Shaukat Khanam Hospital. However, Imran’s spouse, Bushra Bibi, refused the medical examination. Jail sources said the court had directed Adiala Jail administration to make arrangements for the medical examination of PTI founder Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi under the supervision of Dr Faisal Sultan, CEO, Shaukat Khanam Hospital. However, despite insistence from Imran Khan and Dr. Faisal Sultan, Bushra Bibi refused to undergo the examination and declined to provide blood samples. The sources said the reports of Imran’s blood test and the written opinions of experts on his health will be presented in the accountability court.
