Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has urged the authorities concerned for the timely completion of the Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipeline project while cautioning the United States against “meddling” in Pakistan's internal affairs. Addressing attendees at the "Meet the Press" event at Mansoorah on Thursday, the JI emir underscored the significance of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's recent visit to Pakistan. Rehman declared that the JI would pursue the issue of extensive election rigging before the Supreme Court.
