The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released a new list of registered political parties, which includes the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The Election Commission currently has 166 registered political parties, including the PTI. Recently, the Election Commission released the final lists of minority candidates in connection with the general elections 2024. According to the list, the PTI has been out of the race for the seats reserved for women and minorities in the national and provincial assemblies.
