In a bold assertion on Monday, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif declares his commitment to transform South Punjab into a miniature version of Lahore, stating, "Change my name if I fail to achieve this." Addressing a rally in Rajanpur, he stated that PML-N supreme leader Nawaz Sharif had decided that if Lahore could have high-standard educational institutes like Aitchison College for the children of the rich, then similar quality schools should be built for the children of the poor. "We fulfilled that commitment by establishing 20 Daanish schools, out of which 16 are in South Punjab,” he said. In four years, South Punjab should have been turned into a blooming garden." Highlighting his efforts during the flood days, he said, "Day and night, I worked for your service during floods. Nawaz Sharif told me that I must not return to Lahore until the difficulties of people ease." "If you want the betterment of Rajanpur, put a stamp on the tiger on February 8 and elect Nawaz Sharif as your prime minister for the fourth time,” he concluded.
