The second phase of the annual congregation 'Raiwind Tablighi Ijtema' started on Thursday amid tight security arrangements. The festival will conclude on Sunday with final prayers. According to Ijtema administration sources, the second and final session was started on November 9th, with Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Rahimyar Khan, Lodhran, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal and Mandi Bahauddin among the districts and areas participating in the second phase. At least 600,000 people are expected to participate in the second phase and the arrival of delegates from abroad has already started. Published in The Express Tribune, November 10th, 2023.
