Gohar Ayub Khan, former speaker of the National Assembly and father of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan, passed away on Friday after enduring prolonged illness. The deceased breathed his last today while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Islamabad. Gohar Ayub's funeral prayers are scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon in his native village, Rehana, located in Haripur. The PTI leadership and party members have expressed their heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family, acknowledging and paying tribute to their dedicated services to the country.
