Two terrorists were killed by security forces in two separate operations in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the military said in a statement on Tuesday. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted in general area Kulachi in Dera Ismail Khan district where after intense exchange of fire terrorist Ikram was killed. Ikram was actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces including the recent terrorist attacks on Hathala police station and Rori police check post, it added. In an ensuing exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed. ISPR further said that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists. The statement further said that locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support for the Pakistan Army in eliminating the menace of terrorism.
