Armed robbers Wednesday deprived a private bank customer of over Rs4 million in the Hyder Road area of the garrison city in a broad daylight robbery incident. According to a police spokesperson, the muggers also made away with Rs25,000 worth of prize bonds. He said Adnan Sadiq, a resident of Swan Garden, was carrying the cash in a bag, half of which he had withdrawn from a bank. Also read: Rs12.5 million robbed from bank As per the victim’s account, when he arrived outside a private bank to deposit the amount along with the prize bond, armed robbers pulled over and deprived him of his life’s savings at gunpoint.
