Emotional scenes unfolded on Friday as former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sadaqat Ali Abbasi made a poignant return home in Islamabad, marking the end of his four-month disappearance, Express News reported. In a video shared on the microblogging site X, Abbasi was captured ascending the stairs of his residence, where he rushed to embrace his elderly mother and two daughters. Read More: Dar accuses Imran of planning May 9 attack Earlier today, Abbasi secured a post-arrest bail from the anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi, pertaining to the GHQ attack case. The PTI leader made a last-minute appearance before the specially constituted ATC and submitted an application for interim bail. Judge Malik Asif Hayat granted the bail on a bond of Rs50,000. The judge also issued a notice to the Station House Officer (SHO) of RA Bazar police station, instructing the provision of complete case records by October 10.
