Japan has announced 794 million Japanese Yen (approximately $5.3 million) in new grant assistance for the reconstruction of educational facilities in flood-affected areas of Sindh. A signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Islamabad, where Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, Wada Mitsuhiro, and officials from both countries were in attendance. Ambassador Wada expressed his optimism that this project would help create a conducive environment for children to continue their education, even in the aftermath of future floods. He highlighted Japan's commitment to supporting education in Pakistan's flood-prone regions. It is worth noting that this marks the fourth grant aid project through which Japan is aiding the enhancement of educational infrastructure in the Sindh province.
