The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will run the election campaign with the slogan ‘Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’, party sources said on Wednesday. The slogan was approved on the recommendations of the party’s top leadership. PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif also approved the initial election campaign strategy. The sources said that the drive would be run in an “aggressive manner” and that new party songs and anthem would be prepared under this slogan. It was said that print, electronic, and social media would be used extensively for the election campaign, and services of various advertisement agencies would be used for the purpose. The party leadership had set a target of securing 125 seats in the National Assembly and 200 seats in the Punjab Assembly in the upcoming elections. The party sources maintained that Nawaz’s return was expected during the election campaign.
