The federal government has reduced the prices of all brands of ghee and cooking oil from Rs5 to Rs76 per kilo/litre at the Utility Stores. A notification has been issued stating that the price reduction of all brands of ghee and cooking oil at the Utility Stores will be applicable from Friday (today). According to the notification, the price of Dalda Banaspati Ghee has been reduced by Rs23 per kilo to Rs577 from Rs600, while that of Dalda Cooking Oil has been reduced by Rs25 per litre from Rs651 to Rs626. Similarly, the price of Tullo Banaspati Ghee has been reduced by Rs18 per kilo to Rs570 from the earlier Rs588 while that of Tullo Cooking Oil has been reduced by Rs18 per litre from Rs638 to Rs620. The price of Kashmir Banaspati Ghee has been decreased by Rs5 per kg from Rs605 to Rs600 and that of Kashmir Canola Cooking Oil has also been reduced by Rs5 per litre to Rs649 from Rs654. The price of Dastak Cooking Oil has been reduced by Rs25 per litre to Rs580 from Rs605, while that of Mujahid Cooking Oil has been decreased by Rs76 per litre to Rs540. The price of Maan Cooking Oil has also been decreased by Rs18 per litre to Rs585. The price of Soya Supreme Banaspati Ghee has been reduced by Rs69 per kilo from Rs614 to Rs545, while that of Soya Supreme Cooking Oil has been reduced by Rs55 per litre to Rs590.
