Despite the passage of an entire year, the reconstruction of a bridge on Batal Nullah in Naran is yet to be completed. This persistent issue has caused significant challenges for both local transporters and tourists, as the frequent flooding in the nullah continues to disrupt transportation. According to sources, the officials of the National Highway Authority (NHA) have allegedly shown reluctance in addressing the grave matter of public importance. In this regard, the Hotel Association has urgently appealed for prompt attention to be given to the matter. President of the Hotel Association, Saith Matiullah along with other officials, highlighted the incident where the bridge at Batal Nullah was washed away by floodwaters following last year's monsoon rains and as a result, numerous tourists were stranded in Naran but the construction of the bridge has continued to be delayed.
