The Katcha operation has entered its ninth day with the arrest of eight members of the Kokani and Lathani gangs. The police have destroyed the secret hideouts of the Katcha criminals, demolished and burnt their ambush sites, and set up control camps at their hideouts. The pursuit of the militant criminal who threatened police officers continues to be cordoned off. During a major operation against the Farida Kokani gang, which had kidnapped a young child from the Jhuk family, firing took place, resulting in the arrest of the accused and the destruction of their hideout. In total, eight members of the Kokani and Lathani gangs were arrested on the ninth day, and the police seized several Kalashnikovs and hundreds of bullets. The police have cordoned off against the militant dacoit Qabil Sikhani, who is threatening the police officers with heavy weapons in Katcha, and is appearing to try to escape while the police continue to pursue him. DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal has stated that all the police officers and personnel assigned to the operation are performing at 100%, which is a guarantee of success. He further added that the last criminals of Katcha and their hideouts must be wiped out, and soon this operation will successfully reach its logical conclusion.
