In response to Pakistan Tenreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s statement showing willingness to talk, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday said the PTI chief was “begging for an NRO”. She added that no one wanted to negotiate with the “thief”, referring to the ongoing Toshakhana reference against the former premier. Bashing his post-premiership narrative, the former prime minister asked if he wanted to sit with those behind “imported government”. “Do you want to talk to those who attacked you or removed you from the top post?” she asked. She levelled allegations against the PTI chief, saying he wanted to “compromise” to save the trustee of Al-Qadir trust.
