A woman was arrested over allegedly arranging the murder of her brother in Kot Lakhpat for opposing her love marriage. SP Model Town investigations Zohaib Ranjha addressed a press conference at his office, stating that a person was found dead in a deserted area of Kot Lakhpat earlier this week. Police eventually identified the victim as Adnan. The deceased Adnan wanted his sister to marry someone of his choice, disapproving of Waqas, Police engaged the victim’s family into the investigation, eventually interrogating his sister Asiya. It came forth that the siblings developed differences over Asiya’s choice of marriage. When Asiya conferred with Waqas, he suggested having Adnan killed and asked his brother Abbas for help.
