A man allegedly threw his wife out of their house after torturing her, police said. He did not stop at that but allegedly raped his wife’s sister at gunpoint, they said. Police registered a case and started raids for the accused. Mohammad Sanaullah told the police that his daughter Sidra had been married to one Khalil Ahmad. Sanaullah alleged that his son-in-law had abused his daughter and threw her out of the house and hurled threats of different nature at her. The complainant told the police that the accused allegedly raped another daughter of his, who was younger to Sidra. Sanaullah told the police that Khalil allegedly came across his sister-in-law when she had been out shopping and told her that he had reconciled with his sister. “You come to our house and meet your sister and children,” the victim quoted the accused as having said to her. She said that she went with him to his house where Khalil allegedly raped her at gunpoint and told her that he had done so in order to avenge her sister’s act of having registered a case against him.
