The joint investigating team (JIT) probing the attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Wazirabad in November, summoned three federal ministers, Rana Sanaullah, Javed Latif and Marriyum Aurangzeb on Thursday for investigation. According to Express News, the JIT issued summons to the ministers to appear before it at the office of Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) at 11 am on December 17. The report added that the JIT would record the statements of the three ministers, separately. The PTI chairman sustained bullet wounds to his leg, when shots were fired towards the container he was standing, while leading his anti-government long march in Wazirabad on November 3.
