Two brothers were killed allegedly over some old enmity in Rehmaniya Colony, police said. They identified the deceased as Shahzad and Sulaiman Butt. Police said that Shahzad and Sulaiman Butt had been sitting in a park near their house in Rehmaniya Colony when unidentified persons on motorcycles opened fire on them and escaped. The seriously injured brothers were rushed to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital by Rescue 1122, but they succumbed to their injuries. Police force reached the spot and sent the bodies for postmortem. Police mounted a search for the accused. The two slain brothers belonged to the Butt Group of Hudod Ke, who has been embroiled in an enmity with the Kasai Group for a long time. Police said that the enmity between the two groups had so far claimed 25 lives. Published in The Express Tribune, November 26th, 2022.
