A day after the PTI chief announced his intent to pull out from the legislative assemblies, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman linked Imran Khan with a “conspiracy” against the country. Addressing a conference in Upper Kohistan, Fazl, who also heads the ruling alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), said that a “fake government” was imposed on the country through rigging in 2018. Cases were made against politicians by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), he added. “Imran says there was a conspiracy; there was no conspiracy, he was taken out by force,” he exclaimed, adding that “we took Imran Khan by the collar and removed him from power”. He accused Imran of conspiring to divide the armed forces.
