Unidentified people allegedly slit a young girl’s throat in the limits of the Shah Jamal Police Station Muzaffargarh on Friday. The father of the girl, Ghulam Qasim, in his application filed with the police, complained that his daughter, Anwar Mai, had gone missing after going into the fields. Her body was found in a field of sugarcane crops. The unidentified murderers killed her by slitting her throat after torturing her and threw her body into the fields. Shah Jamal police shifted the body to the hospital for autopsy and registered a case against unknown accused. According to a police spokesperson, investigations were underway.
