Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz said on Saturday that International Monetary Fund (IMF) made it clear to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that it stopped trusting Pakistan due to former prime minister Imran Khan, who allegedly did not fulfil the commitments the country made to the global lender. Addressing the election campaign of PP-167 constituency in Lahore's Green Town, she said that Imran Khan came to power in 2018 by stealing the public mandate and he “emptied the treasury”. She said that PML-N got the government during a challenging time and people should continue to believe that her party will take the country out of these testing times.
