Former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi on Tuesday was fined for overspeeding on a motorway while travelling to Karachi from Lahore. The star cricketer was fined Rs1,500 by the motorway police for violating speed limits. The former captain hailed the motorway police, saying law was equal for all and suggested that the speed limit should be increased over 120 kmph. “Good to interact with a polite staff at @NHMPofficial and I found them very professional. Also my humble suggestion we have very good highways, the speed allowed should be more than 120kph!,” he wrote on his official Twitter handle.
