At least two students and a teacher were killed and over 25 injured after a vehicle fell from a bridge onto a railways track in Dina, Jhelum, on Sunday. The vehicle was taking a school trip from Lahore to Murree when it met with an accident on GT Road near Jhelum. As soon as the report of the accident reached the rescue authorities, they rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to the hospital. Hospital officials said that the condition of four people was critical. Read: PM Imran to inaugurate Green Line BRT on Dec 10: Asad Umar One of the passengers told the media that the driver tried to overtake a vehicle but lost control, resulting in the vehicle falling from the bridge onto a railways track. Last month, at least three school-going children died as a result of a collision between a school bus and a train on the outskirts of Lahore. The Ravi Express, travelling from Sherkot to Lahore, collided with the ill-fated vehicle, leaving many other children injured in the mishap.
