Two women were sexually assaulted in separate incidents in Khurrianwala. Police have registered cases and carried out raids to arrest the suspects. A complainant told police that suspect Faqir Hussain, who knew her father, forcibly entered her house when she was alone and raped her at gunpoint. Police registered a case against the suspect under Section 376 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). Another complainant told police that he used to work in the mansion of Chaudhry Waqas Randhawa, where his wife was assaulted when she visited him in the morning. He alleged that the son of his employer, Naveed, along with the other suspect Yasir took his wife forcibly to a room and raped her. He said his wife was tortured over resisting the attempt.
