A man was shot dead by his colleague at his workplace over a minor altercation on Friday. Reportedly, Muhammad Hassan, a resident of Kamalia District, Toba Tek Singh and 21-year-old Jamshed Ali, a resident of Main Bazar Kharrianwala, was working as a security guard in a local mill in Chak 205 RB Wazirwala. Police said the two security guards had an exchange of harsh words while performing their duty and suspect Muhammad Hassan shot Jamshed Ali in the chest. Consequently, the victim was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The police handed over the body of the deceased to his family members after postmortem and registered a case against the missing suspect under Section 302 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on the statement of Abbas Ali, a resident of Street 1, Mohalla Ghousia Colony, Kharrianwala and started searching for him.
